During the twenty five years, or so, that I owned my own dealerships; when a price was posted or quoted, and I had different sources to buy a particular product from (that I did not already have in stock); any changes in price (cost) were never something my clients (customers) would ever know about. If the cost went down, I would normally just lower the invoice selling price. Cost increases were absorbed by me. However, now, I am not the owner/dealer, and today business models have changed in the electronic age.
